Kingsman: The Secret Service

I am obsessed with this movie. Kingsman: The Secret Service is about a kid nicknamed Eggsy whom was born on the wrong side of the tracks with a legacy he can't deny. His late father served as a Kingsman (British spy) and Colin Firth is Harry Hat, Eggsy's late dad's best friend & a guardian of sorts to Eggsy's. This movie hands down gets 5 stars. This movie directed by Matthew Vaughn, of the X-Men First Class, is sharp, fun, and makes a bonafide star out of Taron Egerton (aka my latest crush). Colin Firth is so versatile as he can won an Oscar for playing a king with a speech impediment or play one of Bridget Jones' love interests and now play a spy with amazing stunt work and fighting skills...and you believe every role he plays.

The ONLY things I have a problem with are two plot points...and neither I cannot reveal, but they are so minor I won't dock them any 5 stars...actually one I can talk about. They say that Eggsy was a gymnast which explains how he picked up the agility skills but they never really show him fighting combat style. He has missions he wins with his brains and bravery, but no combat style fighting. Where'd he learn that?

So when he is chosen to be Harry Hat's apprentice he goes to the headquarters of the Kingsman along with other recruits. There's a scene where the room fills with water and the recruits need to find a way to get out. While underwater and shirtless Taron is sexier all wet in his pajama bottoms than any raunchy scene in 50 Shades of Grey. WOW! (fans self)

Aside from the hotness of Taron the acting is top notch (Samuel L. Jackson has a lisp and is afraid of blood), the writing FOR THE MOST PART is on-point, and Sofia Boutella is a scene stealer as Gazelle (SLJ's right hand woman whom has bionic legs).

Another recommendation! Worth the money.
