Rampage

"Rampage" is based on the video game of the same name. I'm going to give it 5 out of 5 stars. I loved it but it was kinda gross lol Keep reading...
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is an Armed Forces vet working in a zoo. He is besties with a gorilla named George. At the same time a company run by completely money hungry brother and sister duo Claire and Brett Wyden (Malin Akerman & Jake Lacy) do genetic testing in outer space to animals. Before the testing samples are brought back to Earth one of the animals goes wild and kills all but one crew member. She manages to escape with her life only to explode in a shuttle with 3 of the samples. They plummet to earth and are found by George, a wolf, and a crocodile. Working with the geneticist who created the formula (Naomie Harris), Davis (The Rock) must work to save the earth from the three animals and possibly if Davis can get George back on their side. Joe Manganiello and Jeffrey Dean Morgan also co-star. The thing that most annoyed me though is every time Davis would try to tell them something they wouldn't listen and he was right. EVERYTIME! You'd think they would just learn to listen. I developed a HUGE crush on Demetrius Grosse, who plays a tough as nails Colonel...who didn't listen lol Still he grabbed my attention! I wanted to see him in every scene.

The execution was so seamless. Yes it was fast paced and felt like a video game, but it was also just a fun pre-summer popcorn movie...it's a tad gross too just FYI.
