Adam Sandler plays Count Dracula who's daughter Mavis played by Selena Gomez turns 118 at the brand new Hotel Transylvania (a place for monsters to vacation away from pesky humans).
He throws her a birthday party at the Hotel with Frankenstein played by Kevin James, Werewolf played by Steve Buschemi, Mummy played by Cee-Lo Green, Bride of Frankenstein played by Fran Drescher and a host of others. He has agreed to let his daughter explore the world, but things go awry when a human played by Andy Sandberg discovers Hotel Transylvania then must pretend to be a cousin of Frankenstein in order to stay alive with Dracula's help.
One of the best kid's movies I've seen in awhile. Did successfully at the box office too. It's funny how this is basically the same cast as "Grown Ups" yet this was better received by the public.
Like "Rise of the Guardians" this one will please kids and adults alike.
