Think LOST meets ANACONDA. So a Steve Irwin-esque character named Dr. Emmet Cole has a weekly survival TV show. He gets lost in the Amazon and his family goes looking for him after efforts to find him are put on hold. The island he goes missing near is the creepy part. Even one scene has all baby dolls hanging from a tree then one of the baby dolls turns it head.
The writing is amazing and easy to follow yet one of those shows that you feel smarter after watching. And the acting is comprised of character and actors not in lead roles prior but you can tell they've deserved it. The main lead character I love is Lisa Cole Emmet's wife. She played Terri Bauer on 24. LOVE her character. Think Meryl Streep in RIVER WILD!
