So I think it needs to be said that I have degrees of crushes. No one realizes this so I should formally state it.
There are crushes I have that I would bear his child (i.e. Aaron Hernandez, Ashton Kutcher, and Kris Humphries). And then there are crushes I would marry (i.e. my 3 work crushes, Matt Damon, Matthew Davis, Bailey Chase, and James Lafferty).
I just can't DATE certain crushes. Lets take Aaron Hernandez. He's got a rep for beating his girlfriends and being a hothead. Ashton has a rep for cheating on his WIFE on their 6th anniversary (unprotected sex btw says the hookup). Kris...have you SEEN Kourtney & Kim Take New York?! No explanation needed. But physically I'm attracted. Matt Damon on the other hand is marriage material...according to his wife of 6 years UGH!! Matthew Davis seems so intense. I watch him weekly on The Vampire Diaries and I get the feeling he's the boyfriend that would do ANYTHING for you. Same with Bailey Chase. He is the ULTIMATE dream guy aside from Matt in my eyes. Ten bucks Bailey would punch out a photog bothering me (when I get famous and we have lunch in the Ivy of course). And James Lafferty come on. Can he be any more hunk-a-licious? He's tall. Shy. And beautiful. (fans self). One thing about James he seems like he'd get whipped pretty easy which is a slight turn-off. And literally all three of my work crushes are in long-term relationships (one's even married) and they are GOOD GUYS!
Think about it in your own life? Why do women and gay men SAY they wanna date a nice guy yet go for the bad boy? I'm not saying Matt, Matthew, Bailey, James, and my 3 work crushes AREN'T hot cuz they are. It's just they are the NICE guys. They are the type you settle down with and won't cause a ton of drama. The bad boys are sexy and hot...for one or two nights. Not a lifetime :( Sorry Kris.

the one where I tread lightly
So my work crush is KINDA back on. UGH! I'm not happy about it.
Here's what happened. I did not confront him about his dickery. It'd be insane for me to, but he came over to talk and I engaged. I don't want him to think anything is up. Well the conversation goes "Yeah I'm reading Catching Fire. It's part of the Hunger Game series." (he shrugs) "Ugh you're such a straight guy." He looks at me and says "Yeah unfortunately." WHAT THE EFF IS THAT?!
Why me? Seriously FML! The conversation continues and it's obvious we are flirting with each other to the point after he leaves I stand up and my coworker is smiling at me. "I thought you were OVER your crush on him." UGH!!!!
I need advice does this guy like me?

the one about Giselle Bunions
So you can call me a hater all you want I LOATHE Giselle. Here's why: She cannot keep her damn mouth shut about things she don't know 100% about.
You wanna say someone sucks at modeling, considering you have $250 million FROM modeling I will listen to your opinion and advice. Go on America's Next Top Model and I got you boo. But I started disliking her when she went to the Oscars with Leo and said to a reporter IN FRONT OF LEO "If he doesn't win the Oscar something is wrong with the Academy." WHAT?! She just insulted the voters AND the winner that year since Leo didn't win.
Now she's back at it. First the pray for Tom chain email AND THEN when his team loses she says to A FAN who was heckling her "Well he can't throw the ball AND catch it. They were dropping the ball too much out there." WHAT?! She just insulted THE ENTIRE TEAM and made Tom a target.
Shortly after her Oscar interview her and Leo broke up...just saying.
If I was her friend I'd tell her to shut the eff up. "You wanna vent to me G, go ahead. But don't say these things in the press and DO NOT respond to hecklers." Then I'd slap her upside the head.

Chronicle
At first I was reluctant to see a movie about three boys whom gain supernatural powers aka the boy version of THE CRAFT! And that's exactly what it is...and as well-written.
I LOVED this movie!!!!!! I was surprised how much I loved the movie too. The special effects were FLAWLESS! There was no green screen feeling. And the storyline and dialogue were crisp. Of course as a audience member I was like "DO THIS" or "NO STAND UP TO HIM!" But that's normal. I loved the movie otherwise.

the one where I get over a crush
So this morning driving to work I was blasting "The Best I Never Had" by Beyonce lol I most of looked like a fool singing on the highway. OVER one of my work crushes.
I decided this after we had a meeting and he was just a 100% jackass. Then after the meeting wanted to be buddy buddy again. I was like professional but I think he got the hint I'm all set. In the meeting he was borderline jerkish. For cereal. Not towards me directly but to others and he was morose the whole time. Not laughing. Not paying attention. It was uncomfortable. Afterwards everyone was like "what was his deal?"
Anyways I'm on the professional tip. Don't really share too much personally anymore (not that I did before), but whenever I see him approach I try to look busy so he won't come over and chit chat.

Man on a Ledge
I'm big into Sam Worthington so that was the draw to me seeing this movie. I was VERY disappointed to hear it only made $8 million its opening weekend. I decided to go see it anyways.
VERY GLAD I DID!!!!!!!!! The movie absolutely 100% rocked. I thought it was one thing and it ended up being another...in a good way. The critics are SO wrong about this movie. It was entertaining and there wasn't one scene I'd cut out or rush through. Loved every minute.
There were a FEW scenes where I call it the "COME ON" moment. Where you get the chance to tell someone off and they don't and you're like COME ON if that was me...but had they not done things the way they did the movie wouldn't have ended the way it did. That's the good part.
If you haven't seen it go out and do so. You won't regret it :)
Oh wait I did have ONE complaint. Someone needs to tell Sam Worthington when you are playing American you can't slip into your Australian accent. That was weird.

Shocking right? Jonah Hill? I'm sorry what? SO happy for Melissa McCarthy though. She has been getting accolades left and right. It's gonna be Octavia's oscar though. And I dunno if I've ever heard of an SNL person being nominated for an Oscar WHILE on SNL. I hope they win. I bolded my predictions for winners :) These aren't whom I think DESERVE it but whom I think will!
One day my name will be called as a nominee!!! I can't wait hehe

the one about the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest
So I entered this contest today. It runs from today through June. If WHO I AM AND WHAT I WANT wins the Grand Prize I get $15,000 as an advance on royalties towards a publishing deal with Penguin Group. Now here's the kicker: I may not win but can still get a publishing deal with Penguin Group. Confused?
Well if they want to publish my book but feel it's not "right" for the contest I can get a deal separately. So either way it would be amazing. I could win either way :)
I'm praying to get something out of this because even though I self-published it is run through Amazon so Penguin Group won't see that as unpublishable. I just want to get this book off the ground already. I feel like I have so much to accomplish and just sitting here waiting for my big break is slowly killing me LOL
Please send me some good vibes so I can start living my dream please hehe

the one about Chris Brown and Rihanna
So there is a rumor Chris Brown and Rihanna have been hooking up for a year secretly. This is probably the most disturbing thing I've ever heard...why? Because I believe it.
When it first broke that Chris Brown beat the black out of Rihanna I was shocked and disgusted. Then I thought something was funny when her police photos were released but I said "She's the victim. Let it go David." Then she did Diane Sawyer and I was like "Hmm ok this seems fishy still." One thing you can't doctor those photos. Those were real. I felt so bad for her but glad she got away. Then she came out with RATED R. I thought it was HIGHLY inappropriate for a girl who was just BEAT THE EFF UP to come out with such a sexual album. My friend Jeff said "I bet the album was done and finished prior to all of this. How could she have known all this would happen?" So I said "ok she has to forge ahead." I felt so much pain for her having to do such a sexual album at a painful time. And I noticed LOUD wasn't as sexual. S&M was a lil weird but she had to connect the two albums so I let it go.
TALK THAT TALK is a lil too risque but I said "maybe she found her footing again. It's fine."
On his side he died his hair blond. Ok a lil weird. Went on a legit interview and was asked about the "incident" the entire time. He is VERY in the right to be mad but throwing a chair into a window was inappropriate. Then he had TWO pix of his bam-bam online. One fully nude and the other in a skin-tight alien costume. His album sales remained steady but what really was frustrating is he NEVER apologized AND his fans blamed RIHANNA! Saying she must have done something to deserve to be hit. EXCUSE ME?! WTF?!
Then there was a tweet from Rihanna that was rumored to be about Chris and he responded. THEN she lifted the restraining order. Ok I can even forgive that cuz they are both successful musicians and have to attend award shows. It'd be awkward for both. But having them back together?
Why is this my business? Because what if I was a girl in an abusive relationship. Let's say I was a huge Rihanna fan and saw what she went through with Chris Brown and ended up leaving my boyfriend/husband cuz SHE gave me strength. To see/hear they got back together would KILL my spirits. I'd think to myself "Maybe my boyfriend/husband changed like Chris Brown. I should give him another shot. (insert excuse ranging from all the years we were together till we have kids)." And what if when I went back he didn't change and he continued to beat me OR I ended up dead? Who's to blame?
I know that's an extreme example but Rihanna is an international superstar yes she has a right to live her life as she wants, but when she became an abuse survivor in a domestic relationship PUBLICLY she became a spokesperson for all victimized women everywhere. Had she not done interviews about him and the incident then I can see her getting back with him privately and it's none of my business. Technically either way it's none of my business. But she sat in front of Diane saying how she has inspired women and now what? This is completely ridiculous. She is giving every man whom beat their girlfriend a second chance to do the same.
What's the recourse? Rihanna in my eyes joins a long list of celebrities I now enjoy what they do as far as music, movies, TV, and loathe them as people. Tom Cruise and Jennifer Ho-pez are on the list. It's a sad day today cuz I loved me some Ri-Ri.

the one about the update on my Kris Humphries crush
So I hear he went back to LA and got booed as he walked on the court. Meanwhile at the same time Lamar Odom (his ex-brother-in-law) was cheered as he stepped onto his own stomping ground in another part of town.
Kris ended up scoring 14 points while Lamar did 10. What's my point? People Kris has talent. I'm not gonna lie he's grating my nerves how he talks to Kim and treats her family, but I think deep down he's a good person.
Quit judging me I always have had a soft spot for the underdogs. I just hope he can change. He's actually suing Kim I think cuz he didn't realize his role would be so prominent on the show and he feels he's being made a full of in front of the country. And my fave quote "Editing does wonders." Unless they have Industrial Light & Magic editing those shows I'm pretty sure he said "You know I hate Khloe." In same breath. Soooooooo what's edited? Those are the things that SHOULD be edited...OUT! But nope they're there.
And now another update 01/24 turns out in the last couple of episodes Kris has been awful. He springs his sister's visit on her LAST MINUTE then expects her to make time to see her when she explained "Listen the reason why I have time for others is it's planned WELL in advance." He freaks out on her when she goes to a medium to communicate with her dead father ON THE DAY OF HIS DEATH, and he even makes fun of her to a papparazzi. It's TOUGH having to defend him. Really. And now his PR firm dumps him. I just wanna hug him and not let him speak or do anything but play ball haha I will meet him when I get famous. And when I do we're having a LONG heart to heart.
