Lifetime does it again with another great TV movie! The underrated actress Bianca Lawson a recently divorced writer whom stays in the unfinished house she and her abusive ex shared. She meets someone who helps her get the house finished so that she can move out. In the renovation she has flashbacks of the abuse she endured at his hands...all the while someone is watching her. This man has hidden listening devices, cameras, and even a tracker on her car. Who could it be?
The movie does a great job setting up the red herrings. When the big reveal happens you don't feel cheated, but you definitely want her to win. I really liked the acting and script. It was realistic that noises and whatnot wouldn't be investigated especially since she was scared of being there in the first place. And Brendan Fehr as the hunky contractor helping her fix the place up is inspired. Wish I had a house needing repairs ;)
The craziest thing about this movie is that it's based on a true story. Don't google it till after you've watched the movie though. I don't want to ruin the surprise. And yes I'm DEFINITELY saying to watch this movie. I give this 4 out of 5 stars. A must see if you like TV movies and Bianca Lawson!!!!
